# Fan Tokens & Tribes

KiX is built on **Chiliz Chain** — the same blockchain that powers fan tokens for major clubs around the world, including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Galatasaray. Fan tokens and KiX are a natural fit: both exist to let fans engage more deeply with the clubs they support.

## Platform Theming

When you connect a wallet holding a fan token, KiX automatically detects it and changes the entire platform theme to your club — the header, the Games Hub background, and your portfolio all reflect your club's colours and identity.

The first theme live on the platform is **Galatasaray ($GAL)**. More clubs are coming.

## The Four Founding Tribes

KiX launches with four founding Tribes, representing Turkey's biggest clubs:

* **Fenerbahçe** — Sarı Kanaryalar (Yellow Canaries)
* **Galatasaray** — Aslanlar (Lions)
* **Beşiktaş** — Kara Kartallar (Black Eagles)
* **Trabzonspor** — Fırtına (The Storm), based in Trabzon

These four clubs represent Turkey's biggest football rivalries and fan bases, and form the foundation of the Tribes system on KiX.

## Derby Markets

Special derby prediction events will feature combined rewards — winners receive both $KIX and fan tokens. More details to follow.
