# Fees & Commissions

KiX's fee structure is simple, transparent, and entirely aligned with the community. Every commission is publicly visible on-chain. There are no hidden fees.

## DAT Trading Commissions

### Buying a DAT

A **1% commission** is added on top of the DAT price. You pay 101% of the quoted price.

### Selling a DAT

A **1% commission** is deducted from your proceeds. You receive 99% of the quoted price.

### Swapping DATs

A swap batches a sell and a buy into a single transaction. The commission is **1% total**, charged on the sell leg only. The buy leg is free.

| Buy leg   | 0% — free                          |
| **Total** | **1%**                             |

Compare this to selling and buying separately: 1% on the sell + 1% on the buy = **2% total**. A swap halves your commission cost.

## $KIX Platform Commissions

$KIX is not sold on the KiX platform. This is a compliance decision, not a launch limitation. Users acquire $KIX on external exchanges — Kayen Finance (DEX) or CoinTR and other listed CEXs. No $KIX commission applies on KiX.

## What Goes to the Next Rewards Pool?

10% of every DAT commission flows into the **next** Game Group's rewards pool, not the current one. This ensures a baseline of rewards is always seeded into the upcoming Game Group, regardless of trading activity within it.

## All Commissions Are On-Chain

Every commission transaction is recorded on Chiliz Chain and publicly verifiable. The rewards pool balance for the current Game Group is displayed on the platform and links directly to the on-chain record.
