# Selling $KIX

## How to Sell $KIX

$KIX cannot be sold directly back to the KiX platform. To sell $KIX, you use external exchanges:

* **Primary:** [**Kayen Finance**](https://app.kayen.finance) — swap $KIX back to CHZ directly, no account required beyond your wallet.
* **Also available: CoinTR** — sell $KIX directly if you hold it there.
* **In the future:** MEXC and other listings, as they go live.

Details of where $KIX is listed will be kept updated on the KiX website.

## Why Can't I Sell $KIX Back to the Platform?

KiX is structured as a DAO operating in a regulated environment. Offering a direct buy-back facility for $KIX on the platform itself would create significant regulatory complexity and could compromise the platform's ability to operate globally. By directing sell activity to external exchanges, KiX keeps its structure clean and compliant. This is the standard model for utility tokens.

## Withdrawing to an External Wallet

If you want to move your $KIX from your KiX smart account to an external wallet in order to sell it:

1. Go to your profile → Send Token
2. Enter the amount of $KIX you want to withdraw
3. Enter your external wallet address (must be on Chiliz Chain)
4. Confirm the transaction

Your $KIX will arrive in your external wallet promptly. From there, you can sell it on Kayen Finance, CoinTR, or any other exchange where $KIX is listed.
