# Built on Ethereum & Polygon

KiX is one of many Dapps built today using not only the [Ethereum Network](https://ethereum.org/) but often with an additional layer 2 on top which enables transactions to be faster and cheaper, whilst still maintaining a high level of security.  KiX has chosen on of the pre-eminent service providers - the [Polygon Network](https://polygon.technology/) who have tens of thousands of applications built on their network.
