Using the ERC1155 standard, DAT NFTs are fungible while held within the KiX platform; this collective feature effectively facilitates a grouping at a trader level that functions like a portfolio.
Within the portfolio, open positions in DAT NFTs are conveniently displayed individually line by line. This provides the trader with a comprehensive snapshot of their performance in the Profit&Loss column, also known as Unrealized P&L, empowering them to make informed decisions.
'Unrealized P&L' is a term used to describe the mark-to-market value of open positions and is displayed as a balance of gains and losses. Once a position is closed, it can no longer have Unrealized P&L because its closure means the performance is realized.
The 'Totals' row in the portfolio is a key feature that provides a clear overview of the trader's overall performance. It presents a total for each column on a portfolio-wide basis, with the most relevant value being the total Profit&Loss, instilling confidence in the trader's understanding of their positions. The Winnings column offers a comprehensive view of the trader's rewards. It shows how much $KIX has been won on a footballer basis throughout the entire time of ownership, not just specific to the tokens in the portfolio. This reassures the trader about their past and present rewards. If all the DATs in the footballer are sold, then the Winnings total in the All Time Profit box can be checked. One of the most important values within the portfolio is contained in the 'Trade Price' column. This is the average price that a trader has bought the DAT for, using FIFO aggregation. FIFO stands for 'First In, First Out ', which means that the first DAT NFTs bought are the first ones to be sold. As an example, in the portfolio above, the Kylian Mbappe DAT NFT has a trade price of 0.5175 $KIX. Trade Price is the average price paid for all 3,000 tokens in the portfolio. The Cost column is = (Trade Price * Number of tokens) The Value column is = (Sell Price * Number of tokens) The Profit/Loss column = Value - Cost
Please note that we use the Sell Price to mark the trade in the Value column as opposed to the mid-price as this is a more accurate.
All Time Profit
All Time Profit = Winnings + Unrealized P&L + Realized P&L
All-time profit is not specific to the portfolio; this calculation box will appear in several areas of the platform. However, it is a high-level snapshot of what is contained within the portfolio under the Winnings and Unrealized P&L balances. Separately Realized P&L, which is the result of profit or loss on closed positions, can only be seen in the All-time Profit box because, by definition, a portfolio only shows the performance of open positions.
Please note that the All-Time Profit calculation is over all time and includes both open and closed positions.
